The Director of Regulatory Affairs will provide local legal support for all aspects of NextG`s projects in New York and New Jersey. Responsibilities include interfacing with municipal attorneys for the negotiation of right-of-way use agreements, review and approval of all local agreements, negotiating the type of permitting approval and, if required, represent NextG before municipal planning authorities, city councils and other local agencies.
Candidates should only apply if they meet the following education and experience requirements:
- J.D. and current valid bar registration in New York (New Jersey a plus).
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Litigation experience (desirable but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and relevant federal and state telecommunications laws, regulations, and relevant decisions.
